Register for Your Free Account with TutorCrew.com

The first step to finding your tutor is to register for a free account on TutorCrew.com. This gives you access to our elite network of role-model tutors in your area and allows you to find a tutor and schedule appointments at any time.

Finding a Tutor

After you have created your free TutorCrew.com account, you can log-on and indicate your interest in tutoring by placing a notice for a tutor through our online matching system. You can place as many notices as you like and maintain several tutor relationships at once. We use this system to match students with tutors based not only on subject specialties but also certain commonalities such as interests, personality, and learning style so provide as much information as possible. Allow 24 hours to be matched with a tutor.

Scheduling Appointments

After being matched with a tutor, you can schedule appointments with your tutor directly through our website. Both tutors and students can schedule appointments so if you would prefer that your tutor handle the appointment scheduling, please let her know. Once an appointment has been scheduled, it must be confirmed. This means that if you scheduled an appointment, your tutor must confirm it. Alternatively, if your tutor scheduled the appointment for you, you must confirm the appointment. All new appointments can be confirmed online under My Schedule as well as by email.

Paying for Tutoring

You can add funds to your account balance through TutorCrew.com. You can refund all or a portion of your balance at any time and appointments are charged 24 hours in advanced of their start time. By pre-paying for tutoring sessions, students and tutors can coordinate their schedules and focus on learning without worrying about payment. When your balance gets low, you will be reminded to add to your balance again so that you can continue to schedule appointments.

Measuring Your Progress

Successful tutoring should result in measurable progress both in a student's grades and confidence. TutorCrew™ helps parents to track their student's progress by providing online summaries and notes from each session. These notes are accessed through your online account and are available shortly after every session
